Rick Gilchrist, CEO of Vannadium, captured this well during the “Beyond Automation” panel when he said, “You have to trust your data.” That statement resonates because it gets to the heart of what organizations are now facing. Paula Goldman of Salesforce said it well during Deloitte’s Tech Trends 2026 session: “Trust is architecture, not just a policy.” For us, that means privacy, security, and governance cannot be retrofitted after deployment. At CES, CMS leaders spoke about modernization efforts focused on identity verification, interoperability, fraud prevention, and replacing legacy infrastructure. Those may not be the most headline-grabbing examples of innovation, but they are among the most important. In high-stakes environments serving millions of people, secure data exchange, transparency, and operational trust are what make transformation possible.
